Butterscotch
Annie Booth's "Butterscotch" is a funky & fresh tune orchestrated here as a Flex Chart, allowing ensembles of any size or instrumentation to enjoy and deliver the funkiness!
At is core, Butterscotch is a a simple two chord progression, moving back and forth chromatically between a Bb7 and a B7. These two dominant chords make up the solo chord changes and allow soloists to explore sequencing and a wide array of improvisational language. Though its core is this simple progression, Booth adds sophisticated touches like moments of multi-meter and dynamic contrast in the melody to add nuance and make Butterscotch truly unique.
Included: PDF digital downloads of full transposed score, all parts, and reference mp3.
