Izzi Guzman is a Miami-based trombonist, composer, and educator passionate about telling stories through music and inspiring the next generation of musicians. A versatile performer, she has collaborated with jazz icons like John Daversa, Jazzmeia Horn, and Brian Lynch and performed at the 2025 South Beach Jazz Festival. Her compositions and arrangements weave together personal stories and a love for diverse genres, creating a distinctive, multi-dimensional sound. She is currently pursuing her M.M. in Jazz Pedagogy at the University of Miami and performs with the Frost Jazz Orchestra. Outside of performing, Izzi is a photographer, social media manager, and an Outreach Teaching Assistant with the Donna E. Shalala MusicReach Program.
